The full documentary film “Flow – For the Love of Water.” This award winning documentary is a must see film about what is becoming one of the most important issues of our time.

You can also go here for our sister site Green Talk Radio’s exclusive interview with FLOW director Irena Salina!

Irena Salina’s award-winning documentary investigation into what experts label the most important political and environmental issue of the 21st Century – The World Water Crisis.

Salina builds a case against the growing privatization of the world’s dwindling fresh water supply with an unflinching focus on politics, pollution, human rights, and the emergence of a domineering world water cartel.

Interviews with scientists and activists intelligently reveal the rapidly building crisis, at both the global and human scale, and the film introduces many of the governmental and corporate culprits behind the water grab, while begging the question “CAN ANYONE REALLY OWN WATER?”

Beyond identifying the problem, FLOW also gives viewers a look at the people and institutions providing practical solutions to the water crisis and those developing new technologies, which are fast becoming blueprints for a successful global and economic turnaround.

As opposed to oil reserves, which is a depleting resource and located in very specific places, water is fixed in it’s volume yet can be found virtually everywhere on the planet. In addition, while we can technically survive without oil, the same cannot be said for water – every human requires it.

This film should be viewed by everyone, as the battle over water access has only just begun and will affect us all.

Thanks for publicising this – I don’t know how I missed it. Judging by the number of hits on Youtube, the trailer has only been seen by 1400. 1800 have seen the first 10 minute section. I did a blogpost today about climate change, peak oil, food security and finally water security to try to redress this a little and show the “peak everything” problems we face.

I am glad I stumbled upon this site. I will be directing the traffic from my blog through your link. There are many people who are not informed and unaware that worldwide issues can begin to positively change in their own communities…by becoming involved.
