Green Hell – What the Anti Environmentalists are Saying About Us (Video)

by Adam Shake · 21 comments

The Heritage Foundation, an anti-environmental and pro – natural resource raping advocacy group put together this video.

If this is our enemy, then we’re glad to have them. Their argument is not only juvenile, but it makes no common sense. In the spirit of full disclosure through the presentation of “both sides”, Twilight Earth presents to you, Green Hell.

A few tasty gems:

  • What about food? We have so much food that we can grow corn and burn it for biofuel
  • What about water? Well it’s the most abundant substance on Earth so we can’t run out.
  • What about energy? The U.S. is the Saudi Arabia of coal.
  • Like Communists, Greens are secretive
  • Greens are cowards
  • Greens are useless idiots
  • The Greens hand picked Obama and made him a Senator, now he’s President and it’s payback time

At Twilight Earth, we say, “Keep on talking.”

Wow. I am speechless. It is all I can do to watch. Where do I start with a response to something like this? Just for the record “Greens” love liberty… and we are not ashamed of our “green” heritage…

I watched the first 10 minutes. That’s about how long I could stand it. I don’t understand why people like these think that by trying to save the planet liberties will be taken away. No one is going to force someone to line dry their clothes. That’s why companies are coming out with more energy efficient dryers. Instead of each side bashing the other why can’t we come to a compromise? I wish money wasn’t so important to some people.

This fellow is clearly lying and it is amazing.

Whether you’re an anti-environmentalist or an environmentalist, what we need is less government bureaucracy and more State-community run organization rather than a Federal solution that impedes our civil rights.

What a quack. He said that last woman made a “spin” but that’s his whole BOOK!

People like Steve Milloy make me cringe.

When Reagan ran against Carter, I wasn’t worried. It was *obvious* that the American people would never fall for that foolishness.

Don’t underestimate the power of campaign financing of lies. Keep keeping on and building a counter-power to this.

Thanks! It’s good to listen, learn, and plan accordingly. This helps me refine my talking points to answer objections I hear from so many people that just don’t get it. I don’t get how this became us against them? Why?

Funny how he calls everyone The Green’s.

Why is this guy making drying clothes outside an issue? My grandma did it, I do it, I’m teaching my kids to do it.
All his objections sound insane. This book “Green Hell” is just silly.

Sage,

It sure is, and the fact that this guy is just a paid mouthpiece for the oil lobby just goes to prove the point.

300 pounder, I never said the earth is fragile, nor did I say that the earth is my mother. Get your environmental cliches right and start thinking for yourself.

Even after reconstructing the spelling and grammar in your sentence, I still have no idea what you are saying. Do you mean, “With stupid lawsuits, reckless tree hugging idiots are ruining our forests; they should all go home to the big city apartments and soak their heads”?

I’m not sure getting an education from Rush Limbaugh’s radio show is working out very well for you.

Guys, as annoying and knee-jerk as this guy is, using phrases like “pro – natural resource raping advocacy group” makes you sound just as dumb.
