Blizzard 09

In what will be forever known as the “East Coast Blizzard of 09″, the northern east coast got over 20 inches of snow in 24 hours.

Blizzard 09

We decided to do a little bit more of a personal Photo Sunday today, so please join us as we go back to nature for a hike through the woods, during one of the heaviest snowfalls in the Northern Virginia area in decades.

Saw your tweet through #snOMG. Nice pictures. I especially like the song to listen to while viewing your photos.

Beautiful pictures, Adam. I’ve got a twilight feature on my camera and went out took pictures last night. Maybe I’ll put them up on A Little Greener. You’ve inspired me to go out and take more in the daylight.

Great photos. Glad to see that you’re enjoying the change of pace over there. I love how snow muffles everything and makes it clean and new.

Nothing like pictures of first snow. My dad ended up with snow at his place as well.

Wow, what beautiful pictures. What I would give to live in such beauty like that. Speechless.

Wonderful photos Adam and what a great dog

We had our worst snowfall, lowest temps in Ireland in Dec/Jan, since the late 1940s. I had just come back from the first culture and climate change symposium in Copenhagen, so I made this to get over my copenhagen blues http://www.youtube.com/user/cathnarnia#p/a/u/0/Uy9HnAF2XR4

Wow Cathy, that was really cool. I love the music and great job on the editing. I have to figure out how to do that!

Thanks Adam

I don’t usually use other people’s work in my film sketches but just really felt the need to express something – music is a cover anyway of marvin gayes classic the ecology. Few more film sketches on my blog. Hoping to go back to college in the future and do some decent artfilms – btw, that one was made on imovie in just under 1hr with an inano i got for xmas.
Great site Adam, have done an article on the culture policy conference i went to in Copenhagen, its been a bit slow as i manage a regional arts programme, will forward it on once done!
