I don't have any kids myself, but I know when I do have them that will be one of the deciding factors when it comes to choosing the right school. One of my main reasons why I have chosen a greener lifestyle is because I do not want my kids to grow up having to deal with the issues we are dealing with now. I want them to grow up healthy and in a sustainable earth! That is why I joined www.Greenwala.com because the other members have helped me learn many ways to be greener in my day to day life and things I can pass along to my kids. Yes, I'm her husband and admittedly biased. But objectively speaking, she "gets it." When she says "let your voice be heard..." it cannot be overstated. We're moving to Fargo, ND and up here, there are scores of plans being drawn up in an effort to improve the area's ability to limit spring's annual flooding to minimal rather than catastrophic. The first meeting, 75 people attended. 75. Not exactly eye-opening. To bring this full-circle, people like speaking out when it matters least - in a bar, at a restaurant or around the dinner table at home.
