Environmentalism is about saving the people, not the planet.  After all, given enough time, the planet will heal itself, and it will spin on with or without us.

So how do I define an Environmental Movement? The term “Environment” is a huge one. Is this website about Global Warming? How about Conservation? What about Deforestation and Desertification? Oh, but we cant forget about Energy, Organic Foods or our Wetlands can we?

What is this website about? It’s about anything that has an impact on our planet, and the reverse impact it has on us.

What’s the big deal? The big deal is that the impact we have on this planet, is making people suffer. The impact we have on this planet is killing people. Every single day.

What am I about? I’m about a lot of things and the Environment is one of them. I’ve worn a lot of hats in my lifetime. Father, Husband, Soldier, Cop, Retail Manager, Business Operations Manager, Homeland Security, Physical Security, Commercial Real Estate… But if there is one thing that having been to all the countries I’ve been to has taught me, it’s that we really only have three resources. The relationships that we develop, our planet and ourselves.

I’m also about writing, whether its the novel I’m working on, the articles for the this or other websites or love letters to my wife, I love to write.

I’m about integrity. Specifically, V.B.E.C.K.S. Values, Beliefs, Ethics, Character, Knowledge and Skill. This is something that was taught to me as a young soldier, and something that I have not always been good at, but have gotten much better at over the last 10 years.

But as far as your concerned, I’m about sharing with you what I know, what I’m learning, and what I’m ignorant about in reference to this huge subject that we call the environment.
