Single Stream Recycling Video – What Is It – How Do You Get It?

by Adam Shake · 2 comments

Single Stream Recycling, not everyone has it, but everyone should. What is it and how do you get it?

I’m always thinking of ideas for our websites and mornings seem to be the time when I have the best ideas. One struck me as I was literally walking out the door this morning to head to work.

What does a blogger do at such moments? Whip out the phone and take an on the spot video!

Recycling has always been a hot button for me. It’s so easy to do, yet so easy to overlook. What really helps is when people make it easy for you. Do you have single stream recycling? Would you like it? Get on the phone with your local trash company and tell them you want it!

Share this video with them, share it with your friends and family, become an eco warrior and make the change you want to see!

Hi Adam, I live in Adelaide South Australia where single stream recycling has been implemented for some years. I agree that this is a very simple way of recycling. My aim is to reduce as much as I can the stuff that can’t be recycled. I love your website and enjoy the various articles that come my way. Kind regards, Annie

Thanks Annie. Recycling is a good first step. The next step is reducing the amount of recycling material that goes into the system. Thanks for being a fan and thanks for the comment!
